The HGES PTO invites you to explore our website and discover how you can make a meaningful impact as a parent or friend of Hickory Grove Elementary School!

We continue to fundraise to support and celebrate our incredible students, teachers, and staff through initiatives like Corporate Sponsorships, Box Tops, Kroger, and Raise Right programs.

Successful fundraising allows us to enhance PTO-sponsored initiatives such as Accelerated Reader, staff luncheons, the 5th Grade Challenger field trip, Culture Fair, library purchases, Dunlap Gives Back, and various school improvement projects.

The Outdoor Learning Center is being finished up at this very moment! The final phase of the stage and amphitheatre is almost complete, and we plan to celebrate with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on May 1st, dubbed the “Rockin’ Ribbon Cutting.” Once complete, this five-year, multi-phase project will transform our backyard into a park-like setting with multiple learning centers for students to enjoy.

The PTO also coordinates Hickory Grove’s Book Fair, Yearbook, Restaurant Nights, social events, Junior Achievement, copy services for teachers, and other activities that enrich education while fostering collaboration among administration, faculty, parents, and students.

Joining the PTO is the best way for parents to get involved and make a difference at HGES. It benefits all our children and helps you build lasting friendships with fellow HGES families. Keep an eye out for volunteer opportunities throughout the year via e-blasts, newsletters, and communications from your child’s teacher or room parent. Your support makes a positive impact on our teachers, staff, and students!
