“Because Not Every Classroom Has Four Walls”

The HGES PTO is thrilled to work alongside HGES administration and staff in bringing the Outdoor Learning Center to life. This initiative, proposed by the HGES teacher and student leadership team is now in its final stages and nearly complete.

The Outdoor Learning Center enhances our learning environment by providing hands-on educational opportunities and nurturing a deeper connection between our children and the natural world. With the final phase of the stage and amphitheatre almost finished, we are excited to celebrate its completion with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on May 1st — the “Rockin’ Ribbon Cutting.”

Once the Outdoor Learning Center is complete, we will begin setting goals for our next HGES project as we continue working to enrich and expand learning opportunities for our students.
